Responsibilities
* Carry out routine and complex dispensing of spectacles.
* Take measurements to ensure correct lens centration and fit.
* Advise patients on frame and lens selection.
* Adjust and repair frames to ensure comfort and vision.
* Explain lens options and educate patients on eyewear care, handling queries about common eye conditions.
* Order products from laboratories and maintain accurate patient records.
* Support opticians in the patient journey and supervise or train assistants within the practice.
Salary
From £28,500 depending on experience + professional fees paid.
Working Hours
Mon‑Fri 9am‑5:30pm; Saturdays 9am‑5pm; Closed Sundays and bank holidays.
