Job Description
We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Support Coordinator to support technical enquiries, quotations, tenders and order progression across sales, engineering and operations.
This is a hands on role in a live engineering environment, not a purely administrative coordination position. You will work closely with engineers and operational teams to help ensure quotations and customer requirements are technically accurate, commercially sound and progressed on time.
The role would suit someone already working in technical sales support, internal sales, estimating, quotations, commercial support or project support within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial or other technical business.
What you will be doing
* Managing enquiries from first contact through to quotation and order stage
* Supporting technical quotations and tender submissions
* Working closely with engineering and operations to confirm technical detail, delivery requirements and commercial viability
* Maintaining accurate records of quotations, customer activity and commercial documentation
* Following up on opportunities to maintain momentum and improve conversion
* Supporting technical and commercial documentation, including proposals and customer facing information
* Acting as a central link between customers, engineering and operations
* Helping identify and resolve issues, delays and risks in the sales and delivery process
What we are looking for
* Experience in a technical coordination, internal sales, estimating, quotations, commercial support or project support role
* Experience working in an engineering, manufacturing or technical business
* Confidence handling technical information and working with engineers
* Strong organisation, accuracy and follow through
* Clear communication with customers and internal teams
* Commercial awareness and a practical approach
* Good IT skills including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
* A willingness to learn technical products and services in more depth
Desirable
* STEM or technical background
* Experience with technical quotations, tenders or proposals
* Experience reading specifications, technical information or product details
What you will get
* £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience
* 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
