Position: Workshop Controller
Location: East of England Showground, Peterborough (PE2 6XE)
Work Patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* To process and support with the operational workflow which will result in a safe and efficient workshop operation for Finished Vehicle Solutions
* To manage a team of Technicians and the day to day processing of day work and WIP
* Assign job sheets to technicians and cross reference job times with Autodata
* Control the management of aged WIP to ensure customer SLA's are met
* Liaise with Contracts Team leads of ELF requests and future planning requirements
* Ensure that processes are followed to optimise revenue opportunities and adhere to KPI's.
* Liaise with sites stakeholders e.g Health & Safety / Facilities / Bodyshop to support in ad-hoc requests
* Conduct ad-hoc jobs such as assisting with flat batteries, moving vehicles, road tests and collecting parts
* This role will be required to learn customer requirements, assist with parts and the fleet administration team
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Previous experience within a Workshop/Technician management or similar role with the experience of managing job allocations is essential
* Experience within the motor/automotive industry
* Be a qualified Technician (level 3 or higher) is essential
* Good stakeholder management and customer management skills
* Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
* Happy and comfortable to answer and deal with enquiries from account team and workshop team
* IT Literate - Comfortable to use I test drive, BMS, Auto pad and Customer related portals that assist with us performing to the customer SLA's.
* Full driving license is essential
