Position: Workshop Controller
Location: East of England Showground, Peterborough (PE2 6XE)
Work Patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
To process and support with the operational workflow which will result in a safe and efficient workshop operation for Finished Vehicle Solutions
To manage a team of Technicians and the day to day processing of day work and WIP
Assign job sheets to technicians and cross reference job times with Autodata
Control the management of aged WIP to ensure customer SLA's are met
Liaise with Contracts Team leads of ELF requests and future planning requirements
Ensure that processes are followed to optimise revenue opportunities and adhere to KPI's.
Liaise with sites stakeholders e.g Health & Safety / Facilities / Bodyshop to support in ad-hoc requests
Conduct ad-hoc jobs such as assisting with flat batteries, moving vehicles, road tests and collecting parts
This role will be required to learn customer requirements, assist with parts and the fleet administration team
this Role Would Suit People Who
Previous experience within a Workshop/Technician management or similar role with the experience of managing job allocations is essential
Experience within the motor/automotive industry
Be a qualified Technician (level 3 or higher) is essential
Good stakeholder management and customer management skills
Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
Happy and comfortable to answer and deal with enquiries from account team and workshop team
IT Literate - Comfortable to use I test drive, BMS, Auto pad and Customer related portals that assist with us performing to the customer SLA's.
Full driving license is essential
