Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Architectural Technician based in Liverpool. The role combines traditional architectural technical delivery with modern digital surveying and reality capture techniques.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality architectural and construction drawings using CAD and BIM software, while also supporting the capture and processing of site data through advanced technologies such as laser scanning, point cloud modelling, and drone surveys.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable design solutions across a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include translating survey data into accurate technical drawings, supporting project design development, ensuring coordination between digital models and construction information, liaising with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met, and assisting in the technical delivery of planning and construction stages on a range of large-scale projects.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Architectural Technology with a strong understanding of architectural principles
* Experience in producing technical and construction drawings
* Competence in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
* Experience or interest in reality capture technologies, including:
* Point cloud processing and modelling
* Laser scanning workflows
* Drone-based surveying (desirable)
* Ability to interpret and translate survey data into accurate design information
* Relevant experience or qualifications in architecture, construction, or surveying
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
* High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving and technical delivery skills
* Ability to manage workload and produce accurate work to deadlines
