A school in Richmond is looking to appoint an English Graduate Tutor from October. This English Graduate Tutor role is perfect for graduates who want to gain first-hand classroom experience before applying for teacher training.
As an English Graduate Tutor, you will support students with reading, writing, and exam preparation. You will run small group sessions, provide one-to-one support, and help teachers prepare engaging resources. This English Graduate Tutor position will allow you to see how students learn best and how teachers manage progress in English at both KS3 and KS4.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils during English lessons
* Running small intervention groups in reading and writing
* Supporting students preparing for GCSE exams
* Helping teachers with lesson planning and resources
