As an EMEA Manager, Projects Procurement, you will manage a team of 5 to 10 full-time employees. You will be responsible for nuclear projects, interacting with cross-functional teams to build and execute project strategies, procurement plans, and contracting strategies for end-to-end delivery from concept to close. You will be a direct interface to our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality, HSE, and Project Managers. Strong commercial relationship skills with suppliers are essential, aiming to provide clear, timely, and innovative solutions. Ability to travel within Europe (10-20%) is required.
You will report to the Director of Supply Chain Capital and be located at Springfields.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Leadership: Deploy sourcing strategies considering the Total Cost of Ownership (Prices, On-time Delivery, Quality, Safety).
2. Operational Excellence: Use standard work, processes, and tools to identify and minimize risks within procurement execution. Develop and implement organizational processes and standards.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact with various departments (Engineering, SPE, Global Procurement, internal stakeholders, suppliers) to develop effective end-to-end execution plans.
4. Innovation: Learn from different departments and apply new technologies to create value for the end customer.
5. Digitalization: Ensure all information is properly maintained in tools like S2P, Wave, EPMO.
Qualifications include experience managing a procurement team (5-10 people), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen, technical purchasing knowledge, contract management, and familiarity with project management tools like Primavera 6. Leadership skills, excellent communication, autonomous work capability, and a team-oriented approach are essential. Knowledge of nuclear regulations and products is a plus.
