At our Whitland site, we’re looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and drive performance across all areas of the business.
The Role
As Bodyshop Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth and profitable running of the site. You’ll lead a talented team of technicians and support staff, ensure industry-leading repair quality, and deliver a great experience for both customers and insurance partners.
Key Responsibilities
14. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bodyshop, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance
15. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of MET technicians, panel beaters, paint sprayers, estimators, and administrators
16. Manage workflow, monitor performance against KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
17. Build strong relationships with insurers, suppliers, and customers
18. Ensure adherence to health & safety, environmental, and industry regulations
19. Resolve customer queries and complaints with professionalism and care
20. Support recruitment and ensure staffing levels meet operational needs
21. Stay up to date with industry trends and evolving repair technologies
What We’re Looking For
22. Proven experience in a bodyshop management or senior leadership role within the automotive repair sector
23. Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills
24. In-depth knowledge of accident repair processes, workshop operations, and compliance standards
25. Commercially focused with the ability to manage budgets and maximise profitability
26. Proficient with bodyshop management systems and reporting tools
27. Clear communicator with a commitment to high-quality customer service
