The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team worker that is well organised, self-motivated to work with minimal supervision, able to handle several tasks simultaneously, and keen to learn. As a developer you will be involved in creating, updating and supporting frontend and backend applications, coordinating and supporting integrations with third party providers, working with data centre staff to maintain infrastructure, and providing 2nd line client technical support.

Key points:
* Full-time permanent contract
* Starting salary £30,000-£40,000pa

Duties include:
* Review frontend applications and contribute to updates & new features.
* Contribute to design and implementation of new frontend applications.
* Create and manage backend applications to support staff/process efficiency.
* Review code work for accuracy and functionality.
* Test new features.
* Investigate & resolve reported application errors.
* Manage MySQL databases.
* Work with third parties to establish and maintain system integration processes (creating/utilising in-house and third-party APIs).
* Provide 2nd line technical support to clients/colleagues via telephone, email, video call, or face-to face.
* Work with data centre staff to monitor and maintain servers (virtual environment) to ensure uptime.
* Assess system efficiency and develop and implement enhancements.
* Manage office hardware and software acquisitions and upgrades
* Occasional out-of-hours support.
* Other related activities.
