Based in Cheltenham town centre, M R Ratcliffe Consultants Limited is an insurance broker focusing on the haulage industry and is now one of the UK’s larger independent brokers, advising and arranging many different types of insurance cover.
An opportunity has arisen for an Insurance Negotiator to join our small sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate renewal and new business terms with insurers and clients
* Communicate effectively with both clients and underwriters
* Maintain a constructive and professional relationship with clients and insurers
Requirements:
* An understanding and knowledge of commercial insurance policies including but not limited to Commercial Vehicle, Fleet, Employers and Public Liability, Goods In Transit and Commercial Combined
* Experience working in a similar role
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail
* A friendly and approachable personality with the ability to adapt to client requirements having patience and understanding
Holiday: 31 days per annum including Bank Holidays, plus service entitlement
Salary: Negotiable to include a commission package, depending upon experience
Pension/Death in Service Benefit: After qualifying period
Salary: Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (Office Based)
Hours Per Week: Negotiable to include a commission package, depending upon experience
