Your main responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
1. Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on people-related strategies that drive operational efficiency, growth, and transformation.
2. Oversee HR operations for approximately 570 employees across the UK and Ireland.
3. Develop and execute a people strategy aligned with the business vision, strategy, and objectives to deepen a high-performance culture.
4. Steward organisational design to enable effective decision-making, focus on core priorities, and ensure agility, scalability, and alignment with strategic goals.
5. Formulate systems and strategies that advance the organisation towards its mission and goals.
6. Partner with senior leaders to design effective organisational structures.
7. Build a culture centred on collaboration, performance, and continuous development.
HR Cycle
8. Lead all core HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee relations, engagement, performance management, capability development, and payroll.
9. Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, legally compliant, and consistently applied across the company.
10. Monitor and report on key HR metrics, such as headcount, turnover, absence, and employee engagement.
HR Operations & Compliance
11. Ensure full compliance with UK employment law, right-to-work requirements, GDPR, and health & safety regulations.
12. Standardise policies, contracts, and HR processes across all brands.
Talent, Training & Engagement
13. Improve hiring quality and consistency across all divisions.
14. Develop onboarding, training, and leadership development frameworks.
15. Drive retention through enhanced communication, clarity, and engagement initiatives.
Performance, Reward & Development
16. Create and manage performance review cycles and progression pathways.
17. Assess and benchmark salary, benefits, and bonus structures across the group.
18. Support succession planning and leadership capability development.
What you bring
Experience & Qualifications
19. 8-10 years demonstrable HR leadership experience is desirable.
20. Professional certifications (e.g., CIPD).
21. Previous experience within a similar sector/environment is ideal.
Legal & Compliance Knowledge
22. Strong understanding of UK and Ireland employment law.
23. In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, organisational design, and HR compliance.

24. Demonstrable ability to lead HR strategy while effectively managing day-to-day operations.
25. Ability to work under pressure while balancing the needs of the organisation and the people agenda.
26. Positive attitude towards developing policies, processes, and procedures. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills.
27. Demonstrable analytical skills and conceptual thinking to drive impact.
