We are a neighbourhood brunch house bringing unforgettable brunch experiences to the people of Halifax
What you'll do
You'll be the face of hatch, an all-star server with hospitality at the heart of everything you do. You'll be a pro at making people feel welcome and creating magical experiences
Here are some of the things you'll be doing:
Be a customer service ambassador. Providing outstanding service and dealing with customer queries
Hosting, greeting guests and managing bookings
Process food orders, take payments and operate the till
Waiting on tables and serving food and drink
Make specialty coffee, teas and cold drinks
Prepare hot and cold sandwiches and restock display counters with grab and go products
Keep things clean, tidy and sanitised
Supporting the kitchen team at busy times with basic cooking, prep tasks and potwash
Follow food safety and health and safety guidelines
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who understands hospitality, someone who really gets to know their guests and anticipates their needs. We want our guests to feel welcome, at home so to say, therefore you'll be warm, engaging, and friendly. We're a people business, made by people for people, therefore its fundamental your attributes reflect this
You don't need to have any experience, a smile and can-do attitude if all you need and we will show you the rest. You'll be fun and hardworking, a great team player and relationship builder
