We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a supportive and vibrant primary school in Redbridge starting in April 2025. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 2 students in line with the National Curriculum.
* Develop student’s key literacy and numeracy skills, preparing them for their transition to Key Stage 2.
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged, motivated, and ready to learn.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and deliver an outstanding curriculum.
* Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
* Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience teaching Year 2 or in lower Key Stage 2.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods for Key Stage 1.
* Ability to adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* A passion for creating an engaging, inclusive, and effective learning environment.
