What's more, you'll be vital in enabling outcomes that will support new legislation whilst ensuring consumers remain at the heart of national debates within the energy sector.

Job Description: We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and has experience delivering strategic policy outcomes. This could come from backgrounds in regulation, strategy, commercial analysis, operational delivery, or public policy. You'll be part of a collaborative, inclusive organisation that values diverse perspectives and supports your continued growth. We offer hybrid working, a comprehensive benefits package, and a culture that empowers employees to bring their authentic selves to work and make a meaningful difference.

We have a critical purpose to drive strategic improvements across our regulatory and operational functions that deliver for our Net Zero and sustainability goals. By joining us, you'll help support innovation, accelerate decarbonisation, and protect consumers, now and for the future.

Read on and find out more.

Ofgem can offer you a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes; 30 days annual leave after 2 years; Excellent training and development opportunities; The opportunity to join the generous Civil Service pension which also includes a valuable range of benefits; hybrid working (currently 1 day a week in the office but this is kept under review), flexible working hours and family friendly policies. Plus lots of other benefits including clean and bright offices based centrally, engaged networks and teams and an opportunity to contribute to our ambitious and important targets of establishing a Net Zero energy system by 2050.
