Responsibilities
1. Engage with stakeholders across various business lines to understand requirements, identify solutions, and contribute to decision making.
2. Generate insights and analytics to support business activities, financial projects, product planning, sales activities, performance measurement, regulatory requests, and decision making.
3. Collaborate closely with CDO communities across Wholesale, Risk, Finance, and FCR to ensure the unified data model meets business data demands.
4. Be a key part of a dynamic, global delivery team, working across multiple functions and geographies to create strategic data solutions.
5. Implement data governance structures and practices to ensure robust and compliant products and deliveries.
6. Coordinate activities across multiple delivery teams to achieve strategic business outcomes.
7. Guide and develop colleagues to uphold performance standards and best practices.
Essential Skills
8. Strong hands-on data and analytics background.
9. Proficiency in coding languages such as SAS, Python, and SQL.
10. Ability to extract, analyse, and manage large data sets within big data environments.
11. Experience in interpreting and creating artefacts such as Data Dictionaries, Data Architectures, and Data Flow Diagrams.
12. Self-driven individual capable of working independently with limited oversight.
13. High degree of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
14. Experience in planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
15. Leadership of focused delivery teams across multiple functions, adhering to Agile disciplines.
16. Experience with platforms such as Hadoop or Google Cloud is desirable but not essential.
