What you will be doing: With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to: Manage day to day operational security activities associated with Defence Aerospace programmes including the administration of programme security budget and schedule. Support the planning, co-ordination and execution of programme security standards and requirements, managing compliance against the GovS 007 Security policy. Maintain operational security procedures, plans, documents, work instructions, local operating instructions, risk register and security management system for the compartment/facilities to programme requirements (including all satellite locations). Support the Security Operations Manager in the event of a programme compartment/facility security incident, breech, or emergency. Carry out investigations, maintain appropriate records and reports, and link into the site security team. Maintain awareness of current and future changes in government and company guidance or legislation that may impact on the local operating procedures and work instructions. Understanding of physical security arrangements in compliance with National Protective Security Agency (NPSA). Good understanding of project management, operational planning, and the maintenance of security procedures and records. Good influencing and communication skills, including training planning & delivery. Ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise driving operational delivery. Ideally, you will be willing to progress to a Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
