Hassocks Private Day Nursery and Pre School is a locally owned Day Nursery in Hassocks. Part of a group of 4 local nurseries, children are cared for in a beautifully curated setting, with a large garden that includes a mud kitchen, climbing equipment, and spaces for growing veggies and plants.
Children have access to an array of peripatetic classes throughout the week including Yoga, Football, Phonics, and Spanish, the classes are well loved by children and educators. Our in house chef also provides the children with some wonderful food based activities as well as some very tasty freshly cooked lunches and teas.
We pride ourselves on supporting the local community, from taking part in the Hassocks parades and visiting carehomes, to bringing the local fire engine to the children, we love to engage with the community and our local families.

Looking after our teams
As a family-owned nursery, we truly appreciate our staff teams.
We go out on nature days, facilitated by specialists who help the team relax and focus on their well-being. We have some great nights out, including a Christmas meal and event all fully paid for, and once a year, we take the team away for the weekend, closing the nurseries on a Friday and whisking them off to Centre Parcs for time in the spa, forest and a few fancy restaurants!
