Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Health and Safety Consultant. The role involves conducting site safety inspections, performing health and safety audits, developing management systems, delivering training, and providing expert guidance on risk assessments, policies, and accreditation processes. The consultant will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety and well-being within their organisations.
In addition to providing expert health and safety services, you will play a key role in expanding our client base and contributing directly to company performance.
Key Responsibilities
Consultancy Delivery
Conduct site safety inspections
Perform audits
Develop and implement health and safety management systems
Deliver effective training programmes
Provide expert guidance on risk assessments, policies, and accreditation processes
Support clients in achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance
Business Development & Growth
Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities
Generate new client relationships through networking, referrals, and outreach
Cross-sell additional services to existing clients
Represent the company in a professional and commercially confident manner
Qualifications
Proficiency in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices and protocols
Experience in delivering effective health and safety training
Comprehensive understanding of risk assessments, audits, and policy development
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple clients
Relevant certifications and experience in health and safety compliance are highly desirable
