A little more about your role…
1. Meet the requirements of an 'Associate' grade with a proven track record in leading projects within your discipline and for overall project teams, demonstrating personal contributions to winning or successfully delivering projects.
2. Work in a joint leadership capacity within a multidisciplinary MEP team, providing design and technical advice on a wide range of projects.
3. Work independently on technical aspects of your discipline or with specific specialist experience applicable to the role.
4. Interpret client needs and project requirements to meet full delivery needs under clear direction.
5. Supervise detailed design completion and oversee the work of others in this function.
6. Assess project feasibility specific to your discipline and lead overall feasibility studies.
7. Take responsibility for and direct others in producing detailed and performance specifications for your discipline, reviewed by colleagues prior to issue.
8. Review design programmes and ensure sufficient resources are available to complete the works.

* You will be based in our Cambridge office, accessible via Cambridge Train Station and within walking distance of Cambridge City Centre.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
Key Technical Requirements:
* Understanding of UK and European regulations relevant to your discipline.
* UK project experience in Building Services MEP.
* Proficiency with electrical design software for project allocation and direction.
* Understanding of Revit MEP or similar 3D design software for project work.
* Ability to communicate technical details graphically and effectively.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD for project work.
Electrical Design Skills
* Low voltage distribution systems, standby, UPS, cable calculations, lighting calculations, small power, fire alarms, intruder detection, access control, security systems, disabled call systems, data cabling, lightning protection.
Qualifications:
* BEng/BSc/MEng in relevant engineering discipline.
* Honours degree accredited by CIBSE / IET / Engineering Council or equivalent experience for Chartership.
* Working towards IEng or CEng status.
* Revit MEP training applicable to the discipline.
