This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting primary-aged children and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to pupils who may require additional assistance, helping them to access the curriculum and thrive in their educational journey.
Support small group work to facilitate collaborative learning and promote positive social interaction.
Work closely with teachers to implement personalised learning plans, ensuring that each child's needs are met.
Assist in managing classroom behaviour, fostering an environment of respect, inclusivity, and positive engagement.
Provide general classroom support, helping with daily activities, organisation, and ensuring a smooth-running school day.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience working with children, preferably within a primary school setting.
A strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and an ability to adapt support to individual learning needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning and development.
Ability to work 5 days a week and remain committed to the needs of the school community.
