Mitie - Security Officer (Union Square Shopping Centre) Pay: £13.83/hourHours: 42 per week (Average), 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, Days and NightsLocation: Union Square Shopping CentreRequirement: SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential) Role Overview You'll be a key security presence on-site, acting as the first point of contact for customers and clients. The role involves regular patrolling, indoor and outdoor, monitoring for suspicious activity, and responding professionally to incidents. Key Responsibilities -Conduct regular patrols, including outdoors in all weather. -Provide a welcoming, professional presence for customers and clients. -Maintain strong awareness of the site and surrounding area. -Identify and respond to suspicious behaviour or criminal activity. -Maintain control of incidents until emergency services arrive. -Record and escalate incidents to the Security Operations Manager.
