The role is to cover the whole of Derby / Derbyshire This is a remote role however requires someone currently living in Derby / Derbyshire. This role will begin on 1st July 2025 It is an essential requirement of this role that you are a driver with access to your own car As a Talking Therapies partnership, we are looking for a Community & Partnership Officer who can bring their knowledge, skills, and passion for working with communities to this dynamic service. The Community & Partnership Officer will support the contracted engagement work needed for the NHS talking therapies service within Derbyshire. As part of the contract, it is important that we have effective pathways, a strong community presence and build effective partnerships within the area. The role will enable the service to expand its reach and use community voices to influence change within the service and the wider mental health system. About the role Assist the Community Development Team Manager by coordinating with local teams to create new pathways/links that meet the needs of local communities, to create access for the community using insight from key relationships to inform development plans. Provide project support for the service and clinical leadership teams to develop and implement these new pathways, engaging with a wide range of partners and facilitating service development meetings to create access opportunities in the community. Assist the Community Development Team Manager with monitoring and evaluation of the impact of new and existing pathways using feedback from both staff and patients to improve the existing and new pathway developments. Assist the community and development team by building and developing relationships with key community groups in order to tailor activity relevant to the community to support with access to the services and local population demographics. Coordinate with Marketing and Communications teams to identify and Implement a local marketing toolkit to deliver consistent, impactful promotional messages that are relevant to the local community’s needs. Undertake any reasonable duties/responsibilities to meet the needs of the organization of this service, supporting the development of a fully integrated Pathway and other transformation projects, all with the aim of helping make talking therapies more accessible and delivering better outcomes for the people we support.
