We're seeking a dedicated individual to join us on a fixed term contract for 12 months, to oversee our loanbook, facilitate financing for our ambitious New Homes program, aiming to construct approximately 11,000 homes over the next 8 years, and ensure the smooth operation of our financial activities.
About the role:
As the Senior Treasury Analyst, you'll be responsible for conducting daily cash flow reviews across Group entities, ensuring that there are ample funds available for payments while strictly adhering to Treasury Management Policies. Additionally, you'll perform weekly cash flow forecasting to meet short-term liquidity requirements and meticulously manage month-end Treasury journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Managing the pool of charged security, including coordinating releases, ensuring compliance with asset and income cover security covenants, and coordinating revaluations to deadline will also be part of your responsibilities. You'll own the process of security valuations for new funding, maintaining relationships with the Legal Property Team and external valuers to ensure valuations are delivered to deadline and meet the asset cover requirements.
You'll also ensure everyone sticks to Treasury Management Policies, assist in compiling monthly Treasury reports, provide insightful analysis, and prepare reports for Treasury Committee meetings. Moreover, you'll play a crucial role in exploring new banking or capital markets options and helping gather information for annual investor and credit rating agency presentations.
With a proven track record in a similar role, you should demonstrate your ability to consistently deliver high-quality results within demanding timeframes. Your extensive experience in finance should showcase effective communication skills, particularly with senior stakeholders, along with a talent for refining processes to enhance efficiency.
While previous exposure to a Treasury environment is advantageous, it's not a strict requirement, provided you possess the necessary skills and adaptability to excel in this dynamic role. Experience in the housing association sector is desirable but not essential.
