Key Responsibilities
1. Provide professional advice and guidance to People & Culture teams and business managers.
2. Support review of employee relations correspondence and reports.
3. Assist and guide managers with investigations and hearings on grievances and disciplinary matters.
4. Help deliver People & Culture training to managers alongside the People & Culture Manager.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business requirements, supporting regular policy and process reviews.
6. Assist with managing Employment Tribunal claims and related casework.
7. Establish and maintain effective communication channels.
8. Keep thorough understanding of People & Culture policies and client-specific procedures.
9. Promote best practices in people management, focusing on equal opportunity and cultural diversity.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
10. Strong People & Culture generalist experience with proven management advisory skills.
11. Educated to degree level or equivalent; CIPD qualified or willing to pursue CIPD.
12. Sound knowledge of UK employment law, TUPE basics, and union relations.
13. Experienced in change management and business reorganisations.
14. Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
15. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects independently.
16. Collaborative team player, adaptable to changing business needs.
