Overview
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to progress into a substantive Senior OT role. This position is ideal for a B5 Occupational Therapist aiming to advance into a Band 6 role or a B6 Occupational Therapist seeking to contribute to an established therapy team.
Thorndon Ward is a 25-bedded inpatient ward overlooking well-established gardens. The ward provides a comfortable setting with a dedicated canteen, ample free parking, and convenient transport links.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver rehabilitation to older adults, improving functional skills and activities of daily living while promoting independence.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary inpatient team.
* Apply clinical reasoning and effective decision-making to support patient recovery.
Qualifications
* Registered Occupational Therapist with experience in an inpatient setting.
* Sound decision-making skills and effective clinical reasoning.
