An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon with a special interest in Diagnostic Imaging to join a forward-thinking 24-hour veterinary hospital located in Swanland, a peaceful village near Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This modern, well-equipped practice provides an exceptional working environment, supported by an experienced and friendly clinical team.
This is the ideal position for a vet looking to enhance or continue their focus in diagnostic imaging, with access to state-of-the-art facilities including a CT suite, digital x-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, diagnostic ECG, and a full range of endoscopy and arthroscopy equipment.
About the Practice
The hospital is staffed by a committed team including a Lead Vet, Head Nurse, Practice Manager, and an outstanding group of Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs, SVNs, and support staff. A dedicated night team ensures 24-hour patient care and out-of-hours coverage, creating a seamless transition between day and night service.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert diagnostic imaging and interpretation for a variety of cases
* Deliver outstanding clinical care to patients during both consultations and procedures
* Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses and treatment plans
* Collaborate effectively with other clinicians and support staff to ensure excellent case continuity
* Assist in mentoring colleagues and promoting clinical excellence
* Maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
* Contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the clinical team
Candidate Requirements
* MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon
* Demonstrated experience in diagnostic imaging (certification desirable but not essential)
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Able to provide clinical leadership and foster a positive, progressive practice culture
* Comfortable working in a busy, multi-disciplinary hospital setting
* Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
