Location: Usher Institute, Edinburgh Bioquarter
We will also consider requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular (weekly) on-campus working. The Usher Institute expects a minimum of 40% on campus working.
The Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU) at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for an Assistant Data Manager to support its function as a UKCRC registered clinical trials unit by providing their expertise to deliver successful clinical research projects within the Data Management team.
The Opportunity:
Under the guidance of the Data Manager, you will work alongside ECTU Trial Managers and the Data Management team to ensure the smooth and effective development and delivery of data management plans and data management activities for the ECTU clinical trial portfolio.
Your skills and attributes for success:
• work experience including experience in a clinical trials or research coordination post, or relevant degree with work experience in a clinical trials or research coordination post.
• Good knowledge of database management.
• Experience in working with confidential data.
• The ability to work within strict guidelines and prioritise workload.
• Excellent attention to detail.
