What's involved with this role: Temporary Senior Operational Support Assistant/Admin/HR – Adult Social Care Reference no: Gateshead 1004329314855427 Pay rate: £11.81 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 35-37 Monday to Friday, normal working hours This opening assignment is for 3 months City: GATESHEAD, Tyne & Wear The team requires an experienced Operational Support Assistant to provide effective and efficient administrative support, which may involve written, telephone or face to face contact with the public or internal colleagues and the application of organisational procedures and systems. Specifically support given will be within recruitment and retention. To provide a high level of customer service to service users, members of the public, external organisations and internal customers via telephone, letter, email and in person to ensure an ongoing provision of a high-quality service within Adult Social Care Key responsibilities: Deliver a high level of customer service to clients, members of the public and external organisations to ensure the ongoing provision of a high-quality service. Provide support within recruitment and retention. Assist in the implementation, monitoring and reviewing of administrative systems and procedures, to support best practice and continuous improvement. Create, implement, and maintain information systems, ensuring that financial and client data is accurate and up to date, including case management systems. Attend and service various meetings including minute taking, agenda’s, arranging meetings and producing the minutes within guidelines and timescales. Experience: Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation. Relevant operational support experience including minute taking. Skills & Abilities: Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite). Effective written and oral communication skills and able to demonstrate a high standard of accuracy and experience. Minute taking skills required.
