This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a background in finance, economics, or mathematics who is looking to kick-start their career in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for margin forecasting, financial reporting, pricing analysis, and supporting various ad-hoc projects.
Responsibilities:
Margin Forecasting
* Assist in preparing and maintaining margin forecasts.
* Analyze historical data to identify trends and potential impacts on future margins.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data for accurate forecasting.
Financial Reporting
* Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to stakeholders.
* Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Pricing Analysis
* Conduct thorough pricing analysis to support strategic decision-making.
* Monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies.
* Provide recommendations on pricing adjustments to maximize profitability.
Ad-hoc Projects
* Support various finance-related projects as required.
* Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.
* Provide financial analysis and insights for special initiatives.
* Interpret data with an ability to see the big picture cross-departmentally and provide insight and input from a financial perspective.
* Work with the team to provide coverage in other areas.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required.
* High degree of accuracy.
* An inquisitive nature and an interest in data analysis.
* Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial modeling tools.
* Confident communicator.
* Confident at working to deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Previous work experience or internship in a finance-related role is a plus.
* Experience with computer-based accounting systems Oracle, Hyperion, ERP is a plus.
* Experience working in PowerBi is a plus.
* Ability to come to the office 2-3 days a week.
