About the Role: As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support young people who may display challenging behaviour due to a range of social and emotional difficulties. Your role will include: Providing tailored support to pupils aged 11–16 with SEMH needs Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support behaviour and learning in and out of the classroom Helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships Supporting the delivery of a therapeutic and inclusive curriculum What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children or young adults with SEMH or challenging behaviour (in a school, care, youth work, or similar setting) A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach A strong team player with excellent communication skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Why Apply?
