Our client is a long-standing and highly regarded developer, known for creating thoughtfully designed residential schemes and maintaining exceptional standards across all their projects. With a strong pipeline of developments, they are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Role & Responsibilities:

Manage the full range of commercial and cost management duties across residential developments.

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cashflow forecasts.
*
Procure subcontractors and suppliers, manage tender processes, and negotiate contracts.
*
Monitor project costs and variations to ensure profitability and value.
*
Prepare valuations, payments, and final accounts.
*
Work closely with project teams, site managers, and senior leadership to ensure commercial success.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the residential development or housebuilding sector.
*
Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
*
Knowledge of UK construction contracts and cost management processes.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
