An opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse to join the friendly Lower Lea Valley Integrated Community Team which provides care to patients in Cheshunt and surrounding areas. The service covers the hours of 08:00 – 22:00 seven days a week.
If you are a student nurse, we would welcome your application. Working in an acute Trust is not compulsory before gaining your first position in the community, as we provide full training and support.
We also welcome applications from acute nurses who are looking for a community based role.
The post offers varied and interesting community experience in a well supported environment and is an ideal opportunity for a nurse interested in working in the community.
Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, provide and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for a wide range of conditions. The team covers a seven days a week service and therefore a flexible approach to working is required.
The successful candidate will be committed to team work, have good communication, decision making and planning skills. In return, we offer an extensive training and education programme as well as a range of personal and professional development opportunities.
