A welcoming primary school in Ruislip is looking for a compassionate and skilled SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language delays, or SEMH needs. You’ll help pupils build confidence, develop communication skills, and engage positively with learning.
The role:
1. Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
2. Implement tailored strategies to aid engagement, focus, and progress
3. Use visual cues, structured routines, and sensory tools to support learning
4. Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCo, and parents to ensure consistency

5. Proven experience supporting children with SEND (essential)
6. Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
7. Strong communication and behaviour-support skills
8. Commitment to inclusion and pupil development
