Wild Child Animation is a Bafta award-winning animation studio based in Stirling. In 2024 and 2025 the studio was listed as one of Broadcast’s Best Places to Work.
As the Animation Producer you will be responsible for managing the communication between clients, heads of department and production team members on animated TV productions working with large broadcast clients. You will be primarily responsible for maintaining great client relationships by ensuring consistent communication. You will be comfortable taking the lead finding solutions to client concerns and be proactive about troubleshooting future problems. You will support HoDs by regularly feeding back client expectations and monitoring progress against bids and resources allocated to the production.
We would prefer you are based in Scotland but we are open to remote work for the right candidate.
What We Are Looking For
* Strong client management skills and a calm, positive demeanour
* Experience of client-facing roles on 5+ delivered TV productions for large broadcast clients
* Experience working with creative team leads, line producers and production managers to determine project scope and set parameters for what is and is not possible within the budget and schedule
* Experience working with creative team leads to assess the complexities of individual departments and be proactive in developing processes and strategies to mitigate any risks
* Confident troubleshooting alongside the client, creative team leads and the production team to adapt to changes in bid complexity
In This Role You Will
* Support the production team in monitoring the progress of individual departments against bids
* Support the creative team leads and the production team to evolve and improve production processes
* Regular reporting to HOP and the team on state of play of your assigned project(s) along with raising issues in a timely fashion that need to be escalated
* Maintaining the project production tracker to ensure state of play updates can be reported and reviewed internally along with raising any resource issues
* Frequent cost reporting on assigned show(s) to the client working with the HOP to ensure these are delivered monthly and with accurate information on the current progress of the project and spend to date
* Feedback information to the Production department to support in generating weekly departmental and production reports, including identifying under reported areas and feeding back on areas for improvement
* Take joint responsibility with Line Producers and Production Managers to maintain up to date schedules & raise training needs within the team
* Experience with Production planners such as Kitsu or Shotgrid and experience using Google sheets for production processes

CONTRACT TYPE: This is a fixed-term contract, expected to start in July/August 2025 running for approximately one year.
LOCATION: Remote, hybrid or in-person at our studio in Stirling.
HOURS: Our standard studio hours are 7 working hours a day (usually 10am to 6pm), Monday to Friday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours on an individual basis where this is possible in the production pipeline.
STUDIO CLOSURES: Wild Child Animation is closed between 4th - 15th August 2025. Annually, the studio closes for 1-2 days at Easter/ Spring, 10 days over the Summer and 8-10 days in Winter over Christmas. These days are non-working days and will be taken out of holiday allowances for staff.
