1:1 Tutors & Learning Mentors Needed – Wellingborough Make a meaningful impact on a young person's education. TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is recruiting dedicated Tutors and Learning Mentors to provide personalised 1:1 support to pupils across Wellingborough and surrounding areas. We work with children and young people who require additional educational support due to SEND, SEMH needs, medical conditions, school absence, or other barriers to learning. Sessions take place in pupils' homes, schools, or alternative education settings during school hours. The Opportunity As a Tutor or Learning Mentor, you will: Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition and mentoring sessions. Support pupils with academic progress, confidence, and engagement. Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and abilities. Help pupils develop positive learning habits and independence. Monitor and report on pupil progress. Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and education professionals. What We're Looking For Experience working with children or young people in an educational, mentoring, coaching, or support role. Good understanding of the UK curriculum. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. A patient, flexible, and supportive approach. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. Location & Hours Wellingborough and surrounding areas Sessions are typically delivered during term time between 8:30am and 3:30pm, with flexibility based on pupil needs.
