Nurture Provision Lead Teacher

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? We are seeking an inspirational, compassionate, and skilled teacher to lead our brand-new Nurture Provision at a lovely school we work with in Chichester.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop a nurturing environment that supports pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. You will work closely with our leadership team to create a safe, inclusive space where every child can grow, thrive, and reconnect with learning.
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified teacher with experience in SEND, pastoral support, or nurture/alternative provision
* A warm, reflective practitioner who puts relationships at the heart of learning
* Strong understanding of SEMH needs and trauma-informed practice
* Someone able to lead, innovate, and collaborate with staff across the school
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with families and external agencies
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and lead our new nurture provision from the ground up
* Deliver tailored learning that supports individual academic and emotional needs
* Assess and track pupil progress, celebrating successes along the way
* Work closely with class teachers to support reintegration back into mainstream classes
* Contribute to whole-school approaches to wellbeing and inclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
