The Infrastructure Finance and Advisory group has a global mandate to advise clients on financing infrastructure projects and works with coverage, product and sales teams to develop and execute financing solutions across transportation, energy, utilities and social infrastructure sectors. The London-based team focuses primarily on Europe, Middle East and Africa, and is comprised of experts in project finance, bonds, loans, structured products and derivatives.
Starting your career as an Analyst/Associate, you will be a key player in the execution of the firm's business, working with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank. You will experience training, hands‑on learning opportunities, continuous mentoring and feedback, and numerous development opportunities.
You will be involved in acquisition finance, greenfield and brownfield finance, restructuring and recapitalisations, ratings advisory and capital structure advisory, leveraging expertise across products, sectors and markets to help clients achieve their strategic, financial and risk‑management objectives.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop financial models and conduct financial risk analysis for greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects across a broad scope of different classes and geographies.
* Assist in undertaking transaction due diligence to assess credit risks and identify mitigants.
* Draft financing proposals, investor materials, road‑show marketing materials, rating agency presentations, pitch books and other marketing materials.
* Coordinate across multiple teams, including client coverage, product partners and internal stakeholders to manage deliverables and ensure transaction objectives are met.
* Engage closely with clients and third‑party advisors to develop and implement appropriate financing solutions in a range of situations.
* Assist in preparing, reviewing and negotiating financing documentation to support senior project finance advisors.
* Conduct industry and company research to identify new opportunities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
* 3–5 years of investment banking or private equity experience.
* Proficient quantitative and analytical skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Advanced financial modelling, valuation and debt structuring capabilities.
* Highly motivated, adaptable, able to multitask and manage projects independently.
* Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to interact with stakeholders in a wide range of situations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
* Infrastructure/project finance experience.
