We are seeking is seeking an experienced and motivated Chilled Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation in Tewkesbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic warehouse professional with food manufacturing, FMCG, or chilled logistics experience to lead a team in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Days worked: 5 days over 7 Monday - Saturday
Hours: Minimum of 37.5 hours, five shifts per week
Start Times: 06:00 onwards, with finish times based on production demands
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse operatives to achieve operational targets
Manage stock movements, ensuring product codes match picking tickets
Oversee safe and efficient loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
Ensure safe manual handling procedures are followed at all times
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised chilled warehouse environment
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
Provide training, coaching, and support to team members
Cover for the Warehouse Supervisor as required
Important Note: This is a physically active role and requires manual handling.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a busy warehouse environment - ideally in food manufacturing, FMCG, chilled distribution, or logistics
Strong leadership and communication skills with a solutions-focused approach
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Flexibility to work different shifts, including early starts from 06:00
Knowledge of safe working practices and strong attention to detail
Ideally a current Counterbalance Forklift Licence or Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) licence - training available for suitable candidates
