Job Summary:
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Teledyne offers a fantastic opportunity to join a small but dynamic inhouse corporate marketing team responsible for marketing the maritime brands: Raymarine, Raymarine Commercial, FLIR Marine, ChartWorld, and 7Cs. If you are passionate about social media and content creation, and are looking for a role to make an impact, drive growth, and utilize your creativity, then this could be the role for you.
In this role, working with marketing and broader business teams across EMEA and APAC, you will manage organic content for the brands, foster an engaged online community, and evaluate performance. Your creativity will be key in creating compelling digital content, including videos, infographics, and other formats that connect with target audiences and meet marketing objectives.
Main Duties:
1. Develop Strategy: Create long-term social media marketing plans aligned with each brand's business goals.
2. Create Content: Manage the content calendar, write, edit, and upload content across social media platforms.
3. Manage Campaigns: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize organic campaigns.
4. External Stakeholders: Work with external contractors and agencies, including translation and production companies, to develop content aligned with business strategies.
5. Engage with Customers: Respond to customer inquiries and provide social media customer service.
6. Evaluate Performance: Analyze social media data to measure content and campaign success, focusing on continuous improvement through benchmarking.
7. Research Competitors: Regularly review and benchmark against competitors' social media strategies.
Qualifications:
* Expert knowledge of social platforms and best practices.
* Strong portfolio of digital content creation.
* Experience managing multiple brands.
* Detail-oriented with multitasking and deadline management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Positive, proactive approach.
* Experience in B2B and B2C marketing environments.
* Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools.
* Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing platforms.
