We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero, as well as experience with accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions.
* Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
* Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
* Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to manage financial data effectively.
* Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
* Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors regarding account statuses and transactions.
* Support the finance team in various administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
* Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
