Inglehurst Junior School have exciting vacancies for Level 2 and Level 3 teaching assistants to join our team to support KS2 learners to achieve their full potential. We are a welcoming and diverse school with approximately 310 children on roll. Roles: We currently have vacancies for both Level 2 and Level 3 teaching assistants to enhance our provision and support our children. Responsibilities
* Work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom
* Provide tailored support to children with a wide range of abilities and needs, including those with SEND and SEMH needs
* Deliver small group and 1-2-1 interventions
* Level 3 TA only: Work alongside another member of staff to lead an after-school club for 1 hour per week. Cover whole classes in the absence of the teacher (for this work, Level 3 TAs will be ‘paid up’ at the higher Level 4 rate)
The right candidate will
* Be flexible, adaptable and reliable and have excellent attendance
* Be calm, patient, kind and confident with children
* Work effectively and imaginatively to provide first class support
* Have experience in working with children aged 7-11 from a wide range of backgrounds, with a wide range of needs
* Be a team player, who can work under direction but also using their own initiative
* Work with individual pupils to carry out specific interventions
