The firm is now seeking to hire an Analyst (Ideally Analyst 2 or Analyst 3 level) in London to join the expanding team.
Role Overview:
Analyst 2 level, with at least 12 months experience in M&A (sector does not need to be FIG).
You will be involved in executing and managing high-impact M&A transactions, providing financial analysis, and building client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work on M&A transactions within asset and wealth management sectors, including analysis, due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring.
* Provide financial insights to support decision-making and transaction strategies.
* Research industry trends and market conditions to identify targets and opportunities.
* Stay updated on regulatory changes and market developments relevant to asset and wealth management.
* Collaborate with legal, compliance, and tax teams for transaction execution.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to meet transaction goals and timelines.
* Maintain relationships with clients, industry experts, and stakeholders to generate new business.
* Advise clients strategically throughout transactions.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for stakeholders.
* Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
* Experience in M&A transactions; experience in asset and wealth management (or FIG) is a plus but not required.
* Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, proficiency in Excel and valuation methods.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with a team-oriented approach.
* High integrity, professionalism, and discretion with confidential information.
