Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Join Vanderbilt University School of Engineering as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (ChBE). This tenure‑track position invites candidates with expertise in artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), foundation models, multiscale modeling, and optimization as applied to challenges in energy, advanced chemical processing, and materials discovery.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a closely related discipline and demonstrate the ability to develop a vibrant, externally funded research program. They should have a record of impactful scholarly publications and a commitment to outstanding teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Experience with AI/ML and computer simulation is preferred.
