VG MSO Ltd have been in operation for 149 years providing complete sustainable packaging solutions from design through to delivery of cartonboard packaging and labels to the food, drink, pharmaceutical and healthcare markets. We currently employ 170+ people at our factory on the Castlereagh Road in Belfast and are part of the Van Genechten Packaging Group which spans 15 sites across the UK and Europe.

We have an opportunity in our Customer Services Department to join a well established team of print professionals in a successful, established and growing organisation as a Customer Service Representative. This is a temporary post covering a Maternity Leave for one year. In return we offer a competitive salary, 34 days holiday per year including statutory days, company pension scheme etc.

Main Purpose: To provide excellent customer service by managing customer accounts through direct liaison with the customer and the associated Sales Representative.

Main tasks of job:

* Ensure excellent Customer Service is provided to our customers in a professional manner.
* Build effective relationships with key customers and the associated Sales Reps.
* Ensure that the customer is receiving information in a timely and efficient manner.
* Manage all aspects of Sales Order Processing (item creation, order entry, call-off requirement etc.) and ensure customer expectations are met/exceeded.
* Maintain up-to-date customer records and ensure that orders and relating documents are filed in an organised manner to allow quick retrieval.
* Carry out any other functions deemed necessary to maintain customer satisfaction.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated within the overall Business Objectives of the Company. Individuals will be expected to work additional hours to ensure customer and business requirements are met.

Essential Requirements

* Strong confident communication; the ability to build upon working relationships both internally and externally
* Good attention to detail
* Excellent planning and organizational skills
* Strong team player
* Ability to work calmly under pressure
* Good IT Skills and proficient in the use of MS Office
* A minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications or equivalent including Math's and English

Desirable Requirements

* Previous experience in a Customer Service role within the Print Packaging Industry
