Trade Floor Voice BAU SME: Real Time Comms (RTC) is accountable for leading the globally domain responsible for the end:to:end design, engineering, support, operational management, and commercial management for all Trade Floor Infrastructure within region for HSBC. These include trade voice turret; private wire and related services; media and call recording services as related to the trade floor infrastructure.
The goal of the role is to provide all HSBC lines of business with highly stable, cost effective and highly functional trade floor infrastructure. These responsibilities include the oversight of all vendor personnel; service management reviews; the execution of proper engineering practices and fault tolerant designs; the implementation of those designs; the support of these infrastructures on a 24 x 7 basis; the rapid resolution of all issues; the oversight and proper completion of all audits and regulatory engagements; and all other related tasks.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Trade Floor Voice BAU SME and the role will report into the Co:Global heads of Trade Floor voice : Colleague and Collaboration Services.
Key Responsibilities will include some or all the following:
The BT Trade, Speakerbus, Redwood, Private wires and STX lines service including but not limited to Administration, MADC, testing, patching and upgrades and is charged with protecting the HSBC brand, shareholder value, information assets and financial assets in the following ways:

Work as a part of the IT Service Management Practice and collaborate with all Telecommunications Services colleagues in other regions and domains to share knowledge and working practices

Challenge and create new ways to meet and exceed (where appropriate) minimum operating standards, balancing control against speed of delivery.

Govern the adherence to FIM Policy and Secondary Standards, ensuring that the Co:Global
Heads of Trade floor Infrastructure
has a timely and accurate representation of breaches and formally agreed dispensations

Define and develop a strategy for tracking KPIs for Trade Floor Infrastructure

Ensures that the Trade Floor Infrastructure Team owns and resolves Incidents and remediates root cause as appropriate

Strong experience within IT (preferably on the trade floor) in a large geographically dispersed organization, with experience of leading individuals within a matrix across multiple geographies
Will be expected to work 24 x 7 support and rapid resolution of all service affecting issues, along with On call and Weekend work to provide continuous service including patching and MADC
