HGV Class 2 Driver – Blantyre – NEW PASSES WELCOME People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Blantyre.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, consistent work, and long-term development — ideal for both experienced and newly qualified HGV Class 2 Drivers.
This role would suit applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver.
Shifts:
• Day shifts – early starts
Excellent hourly rates – PAYE role (holidays accrued separately)

• As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Delivering products to business customers, sometimes with assistance from a Driver's Mate
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and carefully
• Following assigned delivery routes and schedules
• To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category C Licence
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team
Previous commercial or multi-drop driving experience
• Previous customer-facing delivery experience
Training Provided
• Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
