THE OPPORTUNITY
* Join a growing Corporate team in Manchester.
* Advise on a broad range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, equity capital markets, business and asset sales, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations.
* Act on both buy-side and sell-side transactions including PE-backed deals and public company work such as IPOs and equity fundraisings.
* Take an active role in due diligence exercises, data room reviews and disclosure processes.
* Draft and negotiate transaction documents including share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements and ancillary documentation.
* Support and lead elements of transactions with increasing autonomy.
* Benefit from early exposure to clients and involvement in business development and tender activity.
* Progress quickly within a team that actively supports development and career progression.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Qualified Solicitor with 1-5 years’ PQE.
* Strong M&A experience gained within a similar sized firm.
* Excellent technical ability with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
* Experience managing a caseload and contributing meaningfully to transactions.
* Strong communication and client service skills.
* High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
* A collaborative team player with a flexible and proactive mindset.
* Willingness to work outside normal office hours when required.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
* A competitive salary package in the region of £62,000 - £78,000 dependent on experience.
