We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a 6-month temporary contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with accuracy and attention to detail.You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of payroll services, supporting both employees and the wider HR/Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Processing end-to-end payroll for employees in line withpany deadlines
2. Ensuringpliance with HMRC regulations and statutory requirements
3. Managing payroll queries and providing clear, timely resolutions
4. Supporting with pension contributions, tax, NI, and other deductions
5. Assisting with payroll reporting and audits as required
6. Collaborating with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee records
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
7. Proven experience in payroll processing (end-to-end)
8. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation andpliance
9. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
10. Strongmunication skills with the ability to handle queries professionally
11. Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
