Quality Engineer – Kier Group
Hybrid working – from sites in Reading, Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire as well as from home.

Responsibilities
We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our NRNN water team working on our Thames Water framework. As a Quality Engineer, you'll be a key part of ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, acting as the link between construction teams, including civils and MEICA. The role offers the opportunity to work across different disciplines, support effective collaboration, and help ensure that projects are handed over efficiently and to a high standard.
* Interface with the delivery engineers, internal quality team and customer quality representatives.
* Implement and ensure adherence to project procedures, scope, specification, Project Execution Plan (PEP) and British/International Standards.
* Ensure Inspection Test Plans (ITP) are being followed and supporting evidence is up to date.
* Raise Non-Conformance Reports and assist with the product quarantine process and deliver quality related briefings and training.
* Maintain accurate records and trackers, and ensure document control standards are maintained.
Qualifications
This Quality Engineer role is great for you if you have:
* Prior experience in the Quality field or Civil construction engineering (Graduate/Site/Section Engineer).
* High level of IT skills including Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Ability to work to ISO/British Standards and extract relevant information.
