Job Description: Transport Co-ordinator Based at Polarspeed Distribution Ltd in Feltham Monday to Friday 40 hours a week Responsibilities Daily co-ordination and monitoring of company drivers and sub-contractors and develop excellent working relationships with internal departments. Provide support and assistance when dealing with special requirements and inform the customer service team. Produce daily reports, which detail any transport issues within the company network. Brief and debrief drivers. Ensure the temperature compliance has been maintained by reviewing journey ticket print outs. Collate fuel and wages information. Assist with operational telephone calls. Liaise with trunk drivers to report etas and collection point departures. Ensure that routes are finalized on Polar track (in house database). Carry out periodic spot checks of driver vehicles. Report any vehicle or fridge defects to the fleet manager. Ad-hoc driver sickness cover and induction training for new drivers.
