ARRS - CYP Clinical Support Worker

There are exciting developments in Wirral CYPMHS. We are looking for highly motivated and passionate Clinical Support Workers to enhance and support in CYPMHS Wirral 0-18 around the outcomes for SEND & neurodiversity within primary care

We are offering two full-time posts for 6 months which will provide a range of opportunities including supervision with a mental health professional and both clinical tasks and face to face work with families & young people particularly those with identifiable SEND & neurodiversity needs.

The Trust currently supports the RealLivingWage(RLW) hourly rate as set by theLivingWageFederation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.


Main duties of the job

The postholder will be involved in work alongside other practitioners based within Wirral 0-18 team specially in the area of SEND & neurodiversity outcomes. They will work independently according to a plan agreed with their clinical co-ordinator or Team Manager and within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures and will assist in clinically related administration including outcome measures, collection of statistics and project work, as well as working directly with families specifically those with a neurodiversity & SEND needs

Person Specification


Qualifications

* Educated to minimum standard of 5 GCSE's
* Any qualifications relevant to children.


Knowledge and Expertise

* Ability to work autonomously
* Experience of undertaking audits
* Demonstrate practices with base level of theoretical knowledge
* Understanding of child development


Experience

* Experience of working with young people in mental health setting
* Experience of multiagency working


Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
